As an activist, he was one of the leading evangelical voices against Apartheid and continues to serve the evangelical cause in post-Apartheid South Africa. Through the Evangelical Alliance of South Africa (TEASA) where he is the General Secretary, he is involved in public policy advocacy nationally and internationally.
Moss’s passion is to see the gospel of Jesus Christ being truly good news to the poor. This he does primarily through pastoral practice and church planting in poor communities. He also works ecumenically to sustain a prophetic witness that enables the voice of the poor to be heard in the corridors of power.
His academic accolades include a Master’s degree in Theology, and a BSc degree in Chemistry & Applied Mathematics.
Moss and his wife Khumo live in Wilropark near Johannesburg, and have two children.
